The Seven Verses

God has equipped us  with weaponry to combat any attack against us, to protect ourselves from the attacks of the adversary.  These attacks can have many sources, some of them can be internal.  God desires that we are victorious and makes available the equipment to fulfill this victory.

Ephesians 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The Holy Bible is the Word of God and is not simply a collection of history and rules for life.  The Holy Bible is a weapon we are to wield in our protection and defense. Unfortunately, we can struggle in our attempt to pick theses verses up to wield them during an attack.  We can be unfamiliar with them or simply not understand their purpose.

I have been given 7 verses, I would like to share this list with you.   When the list is complete in your heart, God will have provided you with the weaponry to combat any attack given to you.  These verses will impact your life fuller when you read them with their surrounding verses in the Holy Bible.

The order of the verses is important; you may want to go to a favorite verse and be tempted to focus there. Humbling yourself before the Lord will make seeking Him more productive which makes trusting Him easier and it continues down the list.

These verses are to be included with a daily time of fellowship with God while you read the entire Holy Bible over the course of time.  They are not meant to be separated and used solely for your defense, apart from a relationship with God they are useless.
