Focus Conclusion

Does God ever lose His focus on you?  Does He ever wonder if you were a mistake?  These questions are not for God, but they are for your own heart.  He is faithful, the answer is always no.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

But He knows you live in a fallen world.

Colossians 1:21-22 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.  But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

Because Jesus stands between the Father and you, all God sees is love.  When we look to Jesus we see the Father’s love for us.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The deeper we are in sin, the harder it is to look to Jesus.  With our focus on Jesus we lose our focus on the world and what it has to offer.  We will no longer gaze at the power, possessions or person which would lead us away from our relationship with God.  The lust our eyes, that once held us captive, has been replaced with the love of Christ.

The truth is more powerful than the lies that entangle us in this world.  The proven fact of God’s love is what sets us free.

John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Our relationship with Jesus will build our confidence encouraging our focus to remain clear.
