If we want to live our lives differently, we can struggle on how to change.

Attempting to change your life on your own can compare to walking through life in the dark.  Have you ever tried to walk through your house in the darkness?  Chances are you bumped into or even stumbled over furniture that has been there for years.  Without light we can struggle.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

 Reading the Holy Bible lights our path and we can begin to see clearly which way God wants us to go.   God wants the best for us.  But God does not want us to learn so we can do better for Him next time.  God does not want us doing things for Him but actually with Him.  

 To connect with God it is important to build a relationship. God is always with you but to build the relationship you must focus on God.

The first most common way to focus on God is to read The Holy Bible.   

Psalm 46:10  Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

 We can work too hard to change things with no lasting results. God tells us to be still, take the time to rest in His arms as you open His word and learn the plans He has for you.
