Perhaps you enjoy going to a casino to play a game of chance.  Maybe as you pick up a slice of breakfast pizza at your local gas station, you also buy a lottery ticket to see if you are going to be lucky that day.

God doesn’t want you to be lucky, He wants you to be blessed.  God has many blessing to give and all you would have to do is ask.  Often people deny God this opportunity by trying to seek good things on their own.  But God assures us in His Word.

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord of your life does not better you chances of getting into heaven.  You life in heaven for eternity is a sure thing when you have Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord of your life.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Getting to know God better can be as simple as:

1. Finding a comfortable seat with good lighting
2. Opening His Word, The Holy Bible.
3. And invite Him.

Lord, Come sit with me for a while and tell me about Yourself!

God will take care of the rest.
